Harvest time is a very busy time and we employ many fruit pickers and orchard staff during this period. Mainly backpackers. The work can be physically demanding at times due to the heat in December which can get to temperatures of over 30 degrees. Harvest Crew Job at Nashdale AU 2023.
Sensible light long sleeved clothing and a wide brimmed hat should be worn and workers should carry sufficient drinking water and apply sunscreen. Our summers can be hot! Our days start early to beat the heat and we have an amenities block and campsite so you can freshen up at the end of a hard days’ work.
Camping is available to our fruit pickers on request, depending on availability and suitability. It is best if you are travelling in a van or vehicle which can also be used as accommodation. We have kitchen facilities on site so you can store and cook your food. Our orchard and camping site is only a short 5 minute drive to town.
