Job Description
- Corps is a community-focused church, partnering with the wider community to help transform one life at a time with the love of Jesus. This is achieved through Sunday Worship Services, Community Support and Emergency Relief, Thrift Shop engagement, and small groups.
- About the role
- We are seeking a values driven Truck driver who will provide support to The Family Store Manager and Corps Officers in providing adequate pickup and delivery service for the Family Store in line with TSA mission and values.
- You will successfully
- Coordinate the pickup and delivery of all donated goods in accordance with written schedule, following OH&S Manual Handling procedures and other protocols.
- Weekly planner provided to the Family Store Manager outlining planned pick-ups and deliveries.
- Evidence that pickups, deliveries, loading and unloading of truck contents is undertaken as directed and within appropriate timelines and in accordance with written schedule.
- Daily pickups and deliveries recorded in logbook is accurate, comprehensive and up to date.
- Preparation for daily deliveries is consistently evident.
- This is a casual 3 day position located in Cairns, QLD. Salary and conditions are in accordance with the General Retail Award.
