Veolia ANZ is seeking an Operations Supervisor to join our Environmental Services team in Whyalla 5600. As the Operations Supervisor, you’ll play a critical role as the first point of contact for our waste drivers and operators to assist with any issues. Supervisor job at Veolia AU 2023.
Reporting to the Transport Operations Manager, the Supervisor will assist in liaising with drivers, external workshops and other vendors to provide assistance where required.

Responsibilities
- Assisting in the coordination of service deliveries through the supervision of drivers.
- Managing drivers and ensuring full compliance with Chain of Responsibility requirements.
- Communicate accurate and timely information to all stakeholders
- Proactively review route performance to identify route optimisation and improvement opportunities
- Problem solve by responding to issues that are of immediate operational concern with a solutions focus
- Ensure all fleet maintenance requirements are met in a timely manner.
- Conduct driver debriefs at the end of shift.
Requirements
- A background in logistics is desirable
- Understanding of National Heavy Vehicle Regulations.
- Sound analytic skills and ability to read reports
- Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong people skills, including a strong ability to communicate and negotiate
- Ability to work autonomously
- Good computer skills.
- A strong safety focus.
